Payment Methods

What payment methods do we accept?
We accept all major credit, debit and switch cards via our payment interfaces with Paypal and Nochex. Using Paypal, we also accept payments by e-cheque for customers who are not happy with using their cards on-line.

What are Paypal and Nochex?
Paypal and Nochex are payment clearance houses. They clear payments made on-line in the same way as the high street banks clear payments made in stores.

Will I be charged to use Paypal or Nochex?
No. They charge websites such as ours a fee per payment that they clear but there is no fee to you as a customer. They are free for you to use.

Why do we use Paypal and Nochex?
These organisations specialise in dealing with on-line financial transactions and the special measures that are required to ensure their security. By leaving these matters to experts, we provide you with the reassurance of knowing that your payment details are completely safe. We do not store any financial details on our website. This allows us to concentrate on our main business - providing top quality T-Shirts and fashion tops at reasonable prices.

Do I need to have an account to use Paypal or Nochex?
No. Both will invite you to open an account. This can make life easier for you if you buy a lot online (because it saves having to enter your card details every time you make a purchase) but it is entirely voluntary (except for very large transactions). If you decline then you will just have to enter your card and address details, as you would with any payment interface.

What is the difference between Paypal and Nochex?
Paypal is a multi-billion dollar American corporation which has mushroomed in size due to its close links with ebay. Nochex is its smaller British counterpart. To the best of our knowledge, there is very little to choose between the service that either offers to customers. If, for any reason, we have to make a partial refund then we usually make such refunds to customers who have used Paypal via Paypal. This will result in a credit being applied either to your Paypal account, or to your card or bank if you do not hold an account. Partial refunds to Nochex customers have to be by cheque because Nochex do not support partial refunds. This is the only potential difference in customer experience of which we are aware.

Do we accept cheques by post?
Unfortunately not. Our bank charges too much for us to accept individual cheques (and even more should a cheque bounce for any reason). We are currently only able to accept payments online via Nochex and Paypal.
